DAVID J. MCDONALD David McDonald has been practicing law for twenty four years and was admitted to the Connecticut Bar and U. S. District Court, District of Connecticut in 1985; he was admitted to practice before the United State Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in 1986. Attorney McDonald is a prominent litigator in personal injury, insurance coverage disputes and commercial litigation. In addition to being known for his zealous and meticulous advocacy, Attorney McDonald serves as a court appointed Fact Finder, Arbitrator and Attorney Trial Referee. He does this on a volunteer basis to help reduce the backlog of civil cases in the Connecticut Court System. Attorney McDonald also advises clients in the formation and governance of business entities, in both residential and commercial real estate transactions on behalf of lenders, borrowers, buyers and sellers, and in estate planning and probate administration. Attorney McDonald earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut Law School in Hartford, Connecticut in 1985 and his B. A., (cum laude) from The College of the Holy Cross in 1981. In addition to his involvement in professional organizations, Attorney McDonald has been active in civic and community organizations.
